SECTION A

1.0          DIRECTOR’S NOTES

1.1     All decisions by race director are final

1.2     All rules subject to change but will be posted as soon a possible.

1.3     All behavior at track will be proper and professional. Any infractions will be dealt with immediately.

2.0            TRACK FEES AND REGISTRATION

          2.1     All vehicles must be driven by a registered driver

2.2     Novice entry fee is $5.00 with no pay outs.

2.3     Regular season entry fee for other classes will be $15.00 for first car and $10.00 for any additional cars.

          2.4     Entry fee for special event races will be announced

2.5     All vehicles must have working transponders.  Transponders are available at track for rent at $3.00 per day

3.0          DRIVERS AND TURN MARSHALS

3.1     All drivers must stand in approved areas (upper stand, lower stand, or from turn 1 to turn 4) No drivers may stand on front stretch or in the infield. Preferred area is the drivers stand.

3.2     All drivers must turn marshall when called upon.

3.2a   The first and second place finishers of  last race will turn marshall next race. You may find a fill in if needed however it is your responsibility to do so.

3.2b   If you do not turn marshall when its your time to do so and you do not have a replacement then you will be docked 1 lap in your highest qualifier on the first offense. Second offense will be docked 1 lap in the main.

3.2c   If you have found a fill in turn marshall and they do not show up to do so, you will be held accountable as per the penalties above (section 3.2b).

3.3     Turn marshals must stand in the infield at proper positions

3.4     A turn marshals first duty is to assist in getting a car back on the track as quick as possible at the nearest point.

3.5     Turn marshals are not mechanics, but can assist in fixing a car (limited service) as long as it does not interfere with his first duty.

3.6     If your car comes to rest in the infield and is unable to continue, it must stay there until end of current race.

3.6     If your car goes out of the track (over the wall) it is no longer the turn marshall's responsiblity.

3.7     No drivers are allowed on the track during the race. Only turn marshalls are allowed on the track and infield during racing conditions.

3.8     Turn marshalls must be on the track and ready when the whistle is blown.

4.0          PENALTIES

4.1     An infraction found after the completion of a heat race will lose the earned qualification totals for that heat race. (laps, fast times, etc.)

4.2     An infraction found after the completion of any main:

          First violation of race year:  Driver will receive 0 points for the race day and forfeit winnings if any, and finished race positions will be as if the offending driver didn’t race.  Everyone behind offending driver will move up one position.

4.3     Second violation of race year;  Same as first violation, plus, offending driver will lose 100 racing points. 

4.4     Third violation of race year;  Same as second violation, plus, offending driver will be banned from that class for the rest of the year.

4.5     New drivers;  If a driver has never raced in that class, any or all rules may be taken into exception for that driver on that race day if approved by a unanimous vote of all other drivers. 

4.6     Race damage; Rule exceptions may be made by the race director or a unanimous vote of fellow drivers if any race damage that would make an otherwise legal Car illegal.  (Weight loss is no exception)

5.0          ENGINE PROTEST

          5.1     Engine protest rules very per class (check class rules)

          5.2     Protester to give protest fee to track promoter at time of protest.

5.3     Engine to be broken down by owner. Protester gets to see motor broken down

5.4     If protester thinks that engine is illegal, the race director will look at engine himself and issue an official ruling.

5.5     If engine is ruled to be illegal, the protester gets his protest fee back and penalties will be assessed.

5.6     If engine is legal, the protester will lose his money to the engine owner.

5.7     Protested drivers refusal to break down engine is the same as the engine been illegal

6.0          NOVICE AND NEW DRIVERS TO THE TRACK

6.1     All new drivers must verify their racing skills by running a ten lap average that has been set for that class.  Driver must run with-in 1 sec. of this average.

6.2     Novice drivers (someone who has not raced with competition) must win three races in their class before trying a ten lap average for their class unless otherwise directed by the race director.

7.0         POINTS AND BONUS’ES

7.1    All payed entries will receive points

         B-Main winners will move up to A-Main.  All others will receive points placed in order of finish of their B-Main race behind those in the A-Main

          (Every position counts)

7.2    Points will be as follow

         1st      50

         2nd     45

         3rd     40

         4th     35

         5th     30

         6th     25

         7th     20

         8th     15

         9th     10

                  10th      9 points and 1 point less per place there after

         7.3   Bonus’s will be as follow

                      Top Qualifier     TQ   5 bonus points

                      Fastest Lap       FL 5 bonus points

                      Fastest Lap is in Main Race only
